The Hundred End Run 2022
7 members met at CRFC for the run to the Hundred End Vintage vehicle Rally. The weather was a bit dull and windy but not raining…..yet. We went a slightly long way round to avoid the ‘Mawdesly Triangle’ (many have entered never to be seen again!). We rode towards Parbold then down Harrock Hill past the Farmers Arms. We crossed the A59 at Rufford and headed for Mere Brow. We crossed the Tarleton Bypass and took the back road to Hundred End near Hesketh Bank.
At the rally some of the cars were quite interesting but it seemed to me that the tractors and lorries were the same ones as last time. It was well attended and we had a nice time chatting to owners and visitors about their bikes and cars and catching up with some old friends.
After a bite to eat and another browse along the bikes we went our separate ways home.
