The Wednesday run got off to a soggy start. Two of our intrepid bikers turned up, Peter from Morecambe and Dave from Cleveleys. There was a big excitement while we were waiting to start as a police car in a head down bum up and valve collet’s rattling condition came by chasing an errant motorist along the A6 towards Garstang!
We set off from Myerscough and went to see Richard Lancaster in Wrea Green who has a great collection of old stationary engines and vintage bikes & cars plus lots of other good stuff. He made us very welcome and after this we rode over to Knott End for lunch after which Peter set off back to Morecambe and Dave and I returned to the Fylde.
It was a shame that the weather was so poor and we were very soggy after the ride.
