18 members turned up at the Bowling Green for this run on a warm and sunny evening. Dave A led us through the country lanes to the chippy in Eccleston. This was not without incident as the traffic and nature of the route meant that the group was constantly chopped up by cars and traffic lights. However we all arrived at the destination together and ordered our various meals.  The chippy was very busy with other customers and bikers as well as our group but we arrived first so there was no great delay in service.  One great shame was that no pictures were taken of the event as it was quite a gathering and would have produced a few great shots of diners and bikes. So before the sun went down we headed off to return to the Bowling green for a drink and a chat. This did not go exactly to plan as within 200 yards the group was split up by cars and more traffic lights and then when everyone got moving a turn was missed by half the group who then, in several smaller groups, proceeded to use dead reckoning and celestial navigation to get back home! So in dribs and drabs most returned to the Bowling Green for a pint where stories of bad car drivers, 20mph zones and exciting adventures in navigation in and around the vicinity were discussed!

A smashing evening out on the bikes and a safe return for everyone with all the unintended routes taken made this a notable run out!
