Alan’s Local run and lunch
A lovely sunny morning greeted 9 riders to Alans Run.
From Auction Eats we took the local roads round Garstang and Bleasdale up to Beacon Fell. Then down to Whitewell and on to Dunsop bridge for a rest. From here we rode back through the wild boar park to Chaigley and took the Old Clitheroe Road and Higher Road along to top of Longridge Fell into Longridge. Then on to Broughton and Catforth to Kirkham and the main A583 to Blackpool turning off at Peel to get to Alan’s where he had set out a table under the trees for Shenna to provide sausage barms drinks and cakes. A tour of the workshop, garage and garden all took place. It was a lovely day out and many thanks to Alan and Shenna.
