Franks Run to Feizor – 24/09/2016
9 riders turned up on a chilly day to follow Frank through the lanes of Ribble Valley, Bowland and Pendle to have lunch at the farm on Kiln Hill Lane at Feizor.
Bob’s Scarecrow Event
11:15am and 3 riders gathered at the Myerscough Pub for the run to Gregson Green Community centre to help raise funds for improvements.
Chip Shop Run – 24th August 2016
8 Riders turned out for the annual Chip Shop Run on a glorious August evening.
Farmers Arms Motorfest – 21st August 2016
Sunday 21st August saw a good turn out of the NW Section at the Farmers Arms Motorfest. The club banner had been erected to identify our patch and about 10 members arrived and displayed their steeds.
Steve’s Run Out
4 riders turned up at the Myerscough pub for Steve’s Run in wet and windy weather. Although not as bad as had been forecast it was still not very suited to a scenic run out but off we went at a brisk pace up the A59 to the Petrie Arms roundabout and off through Langho to York Lane to take the narrow but scenic Moor Lane to Whalley.
Lytham 40s weekend run
Four Riders turned up at the Canberra Club for the Lytham 40s Weekend run.
In warm sunny weather we took a steady run up the A59 turning left to Ribchester and then on through Longridge and Broughton to Inskip, Elswick, Singleton and Weeton to Wrea Green and then Lytham.
Silverdale Run – July 2016
The Silverdale run went well. Good weather always helps and seven riders turned up.
Bob’s Dales Run – July 2016
10 riders met at the Spring Woods Picnic site near Whalley for Bob’s run to the Yorkshire Dales. Bob led us on a clever route which bi-passed Clitheroe, and Settle, via Halton Gill and Arncliffe to Kettlewell.
RNLI Day Run – 10th July 2016
Nine members met at The Farmers under slightly threatening skies, so after donning over-trousers we set off on a scenic route via Lathom, Bickerstaffe (taking note of the windmill!) Aughton, Lydiate, Altcar and Little Crosby.
Chairmans Don Quixote Run – 2016
This was a well planned run by Chairman Richard to visit and tilt our spark plug spanners at every windmill on the Fylde.
