A brilliant ride out today. 6 riders left Auction Eats at 10:30 and rode up to Bull Beck in perfect weather to meet Chris, Trevor and Peter. Chris then took some great roads ascending, descending, fast and slow with loads of twisties in fabulous countryside. We dined at a little butty shop at Endmore which sold pies. Tony likes pies so he bought one to take home! We then carried on through to Whitbarrow Nature Reserve/Cartmel Fell and back through Milnthorpe. We had a bit of a drama when we met an RV coming down a narrow lane. The R V was wider than the road and we couldn’t pass, the driver didn’t seem to be able to reverse so we had to turn round and go back a bit so the numpty could pass us. A good long ride, 115 miles from Auction Eats and all got home safe, even Tony’s pie arrived home safe and sound!
